Staff and Associates Dr. Shri Kulkarni, KulTech’s Principal Investigator and President, managed several large QA support programs and a department while at Research Triangle Institute, providing technical assistance to several EPA program offices and laboratories and to commercial organizations. Prior to his QA activities, he worked extensively on projects related to RCRA hazardous manufacturing waste listings and pollution prevention for EPA’s Office of Solid Waste. He has an industrial background in pesticides and intermediates manufacturing with a five-plant corporation and has managed industrial process and analytical laboratories. His experience in the contract research field and industry spans more than 30 years. Mr. Charles Blackwell has a B.S. in civil engineering and an M.C.E. in sanitary engineering. He has worked on and managed several projects for EPA, state and local governments, and private clients over a period of 30 years. Ms. Vidya Gharpure provides support in the areas of chemistry and data analysis. She is involved in production of performance evaluation samples using KulTech’s proprietary aerosol deposition technology. Dr. M.B. (Arun) Ranade holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering. He is available to provide technical support in aerosol sciences, fine-particle generation, and chemical engineering. Mr. Jerry Winberry, Jr. specializes in air monitoring of criteria pollutants, air toxics, source testing, and outreach assistance. He has developed several 2- to 3-day courses for EPA and for professional organizations, and he is the principal author of numerous compendia and Technical Assistance Documents. Mr. Jared Novak is a junior environmental microbiologist assisting in an EPA laboratory on projects related to homeland security and toxic air pollutant control. Mr. Suresh Belkhode is a biochemist with over 20 years of experience in protein and glycoprotein isolation and purification using various analytical instrumentation techniques. He has expertise in thermal optical analysis (TOA) of particulate matter, as well as instrument building and troubleshooting. Ms. Christina Slone is a junior environmental microbiologist with a background in chemical engineering. She is working on EPA projects on pollution control and homeland security.
